You Are Wonderfully Made

If there is one truth every woman needs to know is that she is wonderfully made. In fact, of all God’s creation—you are His masterpiece. Psalm 139:13-14 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

As women, we are eager to know that we are wonderfully made—to know that we are beloved, prized, honored, and esteemed. When we don’t know, understand, or experience the freedom offered by this truth, we often turn to worldly things that promise to fill our void, unwittingly separating ourselves from God in the process.

You Have a Maker

Being wonderfully made means that you have a Maker—a Maker who made you in the image of perfection and beauty; a Maker who loves you and knows you, has plans for you, and longs to reveal to you your true value and worth.

Because of unresolved hurts or past traumatic experiences, however, many women struggle with a sense of belongingness, self-worth, and identity with no idea of how to return to God and have Him sort it out.

Living in the Truth

Living in the truth that you’re wonderfully made is the key to experiencing genuine restoration, healing, and wholeness. It opens the way to a rich and miraculous Zoea Life.

Women were created to be the epitome of godly warmth, receptivity, and influence. As daughters of God, we are made to live in the light. But many times we opt for the darkness because it’s either familiar or safe or because we’re ashamed of ourselves. And when it comes to dealing with our inner challenges, many of us are experts at hiding. We struggle inside and are often unaware of the reasons behind our conflicts.

We don’t recognize that there’s a direct connection between trying to fill the void in our lives and our inherent need for intimacy with God. We live in a world that threatens our relationship with God. We are surrounded by substitutes that claim to be the answer to what our hearts are seeking. But God is the only One who can satisfy our needs.
